Three before-and-after examples of why you need a designer
Series of 12 panels commemorating the 800th anniversary of the founding of Mildenhall church.
To create the panels I had to source all the images, as well as researching much of the historical text.
Menu for a local cafe. It’s not just a question of making it look better, but organising the content into rational sections.
Flyer for a choir. When everything screams for attention it’s overwhelming: sort sizes in order of importance.
Logo design
A selection of the many logos I’ve created over a number of years.
The original logo for this hugely successful social website. The image was based on Charlie’s Angels, and was intended to empower women.
Logo for an Omani government website. It was designed to look edgy and angry, in keeping with the government’s stance on human trafficking.
Design for a government-funded adoption agency. The inserted characters in the ‘m’ and ‘h’ depict two parents and a prospective adopted child.
A charity dedicated to help those who perceive themselves to be ugly. It features a mismatched reflection, typifying their inaccurate self view.
Logo for a writing competition for adopted children. The aim was to be friendly and approachable, mimicking a child’s handwriting.
LAMBCO productions is a gay theatre company, which is reflected in the rainbow stripes. The name itself appears on a stage.
Logo for a legal practice in India, specialising in the law surrounding crypto currencies. The motif resembles a rotating lock.
Stage Door Theatre is a dinner theatre in Drury Lane, London, above the Prince of Wales pub.
Fox Opera was a small-scale opera company based in Scotland. The O forms the tale of the fox through the letter X.
Amalgem was a story-telling consultancy aimed at interpreting clients’ narratives. The modified serif font looks familiar but at the same time unusual.
LawStuff is a government-funded website that provides legal advice to children. The logo is intended to look friendly but authoritative.
Lingua Franca is a media production company which specialises in multi-language publications, websites and films.
